Young Professionals

The GBCC Young Professionals Group’s primary mission is to serve as a growth development resource for those 39 and younger. We provide workshops on professional growth, networking, and development by connecting young talents from different backgrounds and industries with experienced professionals across various fields. YP members gain access to YP events, including workshops, mentorship opportunities, and more.

Whether you’re looking to expand your network, enhance your skill set, or connect with like-minded young talents, the Brookfield Chamber Young Professionals group offers resources and opportunities to help you achieve your goals.

How to Join

Please click the button below to download the GBCC YP Group application. Upon completing the form, please email it to miranda@brookfieldchamber.com or mail it to the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce office located at 17100 W Bluemound Road, Suite 202, Brookfield, WI 53005.

Membership Fee*:
If your employer is a current GBCC investor business, there is no additional charge to join the YP group. Please note – we still require your completed application.

 

If your employer is not a current GBCC investor business, the individual fee is $75.00 per year.

 

*Programs have an additional fee. Fees vary based on programming and typically are between $10.00 – $25.00 for members and $25.00 – $50.00 for nonmembers.

Membership:

Membership includes monthly workshops and scheduled happy hour socials at a discounted rate, monthly email communication, and more. Memberships are nonrefundable.

Upcoming Programs

New Era Networks Program – Presentation From Christy Siegle/Transitions Coaching

New Era Networkers are meeting on January 9th to learn from Christy Siegle, Leadership Coach at Transitions Coaching. This session will focus on gaining a better understanding of how your emotional intelligence can boost your self-awareness and self-management, as well as your awareness of others and relationship management. 

 

The GBCC’s Young Professionals group, the New Era Networkers, are meeting on February 13th for an interactive session designed to foster meaningful conversation and connection. This event will be an open forum where attendees can bring questions related to their professional journey. 

 

Whether you’re seeking advice, sharing your experiences, or looking to learn from others, this is an opportunity to engage in a collaborative discussion. Once a question is asked, other attendees are encouraged to offer feedback, share insights/experiences, and contribute their knowledge to help others grow. 

The GBCC’s Young Professionals group, the New Era Networkers, are meeting on March 13th to learn from Deanna Marincic, Owner and Founder of Gals On The Go Project. This session will focus on understanding and identifying imposter syndrome and provide tools to overcome it.

New Era Networker programs are held the third Friday of each month from 9:00 am – 10:00am. 

 

Program topics and speakers will be added to the GBCC calendar as soon as they are booked. 

Quarterly Happy Hour

Join us for happy hour! Happy hour will take place on June 5th, September 11th, and December 4th. 

 

While there is no fee to attend, those in attendance are responsible for paying for their beverages.
